Spherule Foundation started in the year 2016 with a vision to work primarily to bring deep-rooted sustainable change in people & lives, vision is to create an equal, just and sustainable society.

We are doing various awareness sessions, initiatives, workshops and seminars in schools, colleges, orphanages, slums, villages and communities all across India. We have started this initiative in Assam, Bihar, Odisha, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa and Kerala.

Spherule Foundation an awardee of BD Sahitya Akademi Award, Samaj Sevi Ratan, PAD Hero of India and Indian Achievers Award.

Mission: Spherule Foundation is a pioneering non-governmental organization dedicated to catalyzing transformative change by actively addressing all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations. Our mission is to create a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future for present and future generations through innovative, collaborative, and impactful initiatives that holistically tackle the interconnected challenges facing our planet.

Dr. Geeta Bora, Our Founder

Dr. Geeta Bora has done a Ph.D. in Computer Science and worked in the USA for 9 years as a Software Architect. She left her job and started Spherule Foundation with an aim to bring a deep-rooted sustainable change in people’s lives by creating an equal, just and sustainable society in India.

She led many projects in the education field and designed and developed many software-systems and got actively engaged in developing tools, techniques, courses, and programs that brought education to millions of learners transcending the barriers of geographies, economic levels, and languages. Now, these software systems are not only used in India but also part of the education system in 12 different countries spanning Gulf-Countries and Africa.
