Mahatma Award 2025 for Social Good & Impact

Spherule Foundation received the 2025 Mahatma Award for Social Good & Impact. It is one of the highest global honours for social commitment. Other winners include names like Ratan Tata, Azim Premji, Sudha Murty, ISRO, IBM Foundation, Twitter for Good, and Microsoft Philanthropy.

The program, held in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Government and SUNFO Global, took place at Asia’s largest convention center, BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall)

Oxford University Paper Presentation

Dr Geeta Bora represented Spherule Foundation at the Global Research Conference at the University of Oxford, presenting a paper on women’s economic empowerment and launching the book Moon Time on an international platform. The recognition highlights Spherule’s commitment to research-driven, open-source solutions for social change. The paper is titled “Empowering Underprivileged Women: Catalyst for a Better World through their Economic Advancement.”

Guardian of Humanity Award by Brahma Kumaris

Dr Geeta Bora received the “Guardian of Humanity” Award from Brahma Kumaris at the Global Summit 2025, recognizing her commitment to humanitarian service rooted in compassion and spirituality.

IETE Women Achievers Award 2023

Dr Geeta Bora was honoured with the IETE Women Achievers Award 2023 by the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune. The recognition celebrates her vision of leveraging technology and innovation to create sustainable social impact.

Spherule Foundation has been awarded the ‘Top 30 Most Trusted NGOs of India’ award,
at the Indian Social Impact Awards conference on January 21st, 2023.

Global Icon Awardee

 â€śGlobal Icon Award” at the G20, Global Economic Forum Summit Indonesia, Bali for year 2022. In year 2022, Indonesia had the G20 Presidency. The Indonesian government awarded 25 Indian nationals who have contributed exceptionally well in their fields.
