We’ve conducted 228 workshops using storytelling and videos, distributing over 7,900 sanitary products and 630 “MoonTime” comics. The Swasthya Saheli program sensitized 17,000 adolescent school girls, forming peer groups for ongoing discussions. Women-Friendly Police Stations

Spherule transforms police stations into women-friendly spaces through comprehensive infrastructure upgrades and capacity building. We’ve renovated facilities including reception areas, waiting areas, women restrooms, women officer working areas, and general lobbies to ensure comfort when women victims visit. Interventions include toilet renovations with western style conversions, construction of new modern facilities meeting accessibility and privacy standards, and upgrades to water supply and electrical systems. Beyond infrastructure, we conduct sessions on mental health, women’s health, and sexual harassment for women police force members. These improvements ensure clean, functional, comfortable facilities enhancing well-being and hygiene for police staff and visitors, benefiting over 10,000 individuals while improving morale, public perception, and creating positive atmospheres for reporting and support.

Social Entrepreneurship Initiatives

We launched our own sanitary napkin brand “STRI”, training over 2,000 women to package, sell, and market sanitary napkins, period pain roll-ons, and reusable pads for self-earning. This initiative reached 50,000 women, creating affordable menstrual products while generating sustainable livelihoods. Our social entrepreneurship model combines health awareness with economic empowerment, enabling women to become health advocates and business owners simultaneously. The program earned us the “Pad Hero of India” award in 2018. We’ve also created educational tools including the “MoonTime” illustrated book published in Hindi, English, and Marathi, distributed to 52,000 beneficiaries and used in government schools, and the award-winning short film “Pie in the Sky” viewed by 500,000+ people, breaking menstrual taboos through creative advocacy.
