Our most recent interventions in Kerela, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra, Assam and Bihar have impacted thousands of lives! India’s geo-climatic conditions, its high degree of socio-economic vulnerability, makes it one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world. It is highly vulnerable to floods, droughts, cyclones, earthquakes, landslides, avalanches and forest fires. We have always come forward for help in emergencies like floods, drought, earthquake etc.  

  • No Honking

    Pune alone Honks 1 crore times every day as per RTO study of 2018. Spherule Foundation celebrates No Honking day on Dec 12 every year and aware people not to unnecessarily Honk and be respectful for people on Road. More than 95% of these honking can be avoided. Relentless and unnecessary honking assaults our senses every day and is a major cause of road rage, anxiety, hypertension and sleep disorders. Some of the tips not to honk include - 1. Plan ahead - Do not rush the last minute. 2. Have patience - Do not honk when the school bus is off-boarding school children. 3. Respect Pedestrians - stop and wait for pedestrians to crossroad instead of honking. 4. Do not start honking as soon as red light turns green.     Spherule works a lot on Adolescent health awareness and wellbeing. Puberty, Sex education, and many such subjects still people don’t talk. Largest Adolescent Health Awareness Walkathon is organized to sensitize Parents, teachers, and adults about this subject.

  • Drinking water distribution to labourers travelling home

    Pune Station

    Around 50,000 Migrant labourers are returning to their native place to UP, MP and Bihar. There was a request made by the Administration if Spherule Foundation could help in Provision of bottled water for these Migrants. The team got on to this mission and through the network of donors and volunteers, within no time funds were raised. The same night the packaged drinking water bottles were dispatched to Police Commissioner's Office.

    The Foundation/Bridge Course is specially designed with the objective to help the students lagging behind in academics. Our educators who specialize in subjects like Math, Science & English help these students to clear their basics and concepts.
